William “Bill” Rearick, Jr. (1951-2025)

William “Bill” Rearick, Jr., 73, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully on Good Friday of 2025, April 18th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, compassion, and quiet dignity. He was born on November 1st, 1951. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, aunts and uncles. He is survived by one of his aunts, several cousins, his nephews and the many friends, coworkers and community members whose lives he touched. His memory will live on in the values he embodied and the quiet kindness he shared every day.

William devoted many years of his life to helping others through his work at Holy Family Institute in Emsworth, where he served as a Unit Coordinator. He was most recently a caregiver at Home Instead of Zelienople. His calm demeanor, strong work ethic, and genuine care for the well-being of others earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and the many young lives he impacted. He enjoyed travel and exploration, especially to amusement parks. Whether discovering new destinations or simply enjoying the open road, he found peace and inspiration in the journey. His stories and experiences were a source of joy to those who knew him.

William will be buried with his mother in St. Mary Cemetery of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania.

A private remembrance for William will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton. Those wishing to honor William’s memory may make a donation to Home Instead, 22410 Perry Highway, Zelienople, PA 16063 or a charity of their choice.
