Alecia Dawn Anderson (1948-2025)

Alecia Dawn Anderson, 77, of Ellwood City, passed away on May 15th, 2025, following ongoing health issues. She was born in Beaver Falls on April 13th, 1948, the eldest daughter of the late James and Helen Anderson. She is survived by her siblings, Wilbert “Bud” Anderson and Katharyn “Kathy” Ristau, her nieces and nephew: Heather (Morgan) Manuel, Angela (John) Bradley, James (Sharon) Anderson, Charlotte (James) Malone and Jillian Ristau; along with many great-nieces and nephews and her beloved pet, Fiona. Alecia was a 1965 graduate of Beaver Falls High School and Montefiore School of Nursing who served as a Captain in the Air National Guard’s 911th Airlift Wing. Her nursing career spanned the former Geriatric Center and ClearHaven Nursing Home in Clearfield. She then worked at Koppel Steel before retiring from private duty nursing. She had a lifelong love of literature, film and the arts. She was a proud member of the Beaver Falls Elks and was a devoted Steelers fan. Her adventurous spirit and unwavering support will be deeply missed. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 21st, from 4 P.M. until the time of a service at 7 P.M. at CORLESS-KUNSELMAN FUNERAL SERVICES, LLC, 3801 4th Avenue, Beaver Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Beaver County Humane Society or the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls.
