Aliquippa man facing charges after hitting and killing a seventy-six-year-old man with a car that was not his own in Monaca

(Monaca, PA) A seventy-six-year-old man was both hit with a vehicle and killed in Monaca according to police, and the accused man faces charges. On Saturday, seventy-six-year-old Raymond Brychik was unconscious on the intersection of 12th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Brychik died on Monday morning at Allegheny General Hospital. According to court documents, the driver was thirty-eight-year-old Aldert Daniel Bouman of Aliquippa. Police state that Bouman escaped the scene after hitting Brychik and went to a few side streets before exiting. Officers also noted that someone Bouman knew from Independence Township owns the car Bouman was driving. Bouman faces multiple charges, including two for felony.
