Eleanor Roberta (Marocco) Cater, 79, formerly of Aliquippa, passed away January 14th, 2025, after a brief illness.
She was born in Rochester on December 8th, 1945, a daughter of the late Eleuterio and Maria Marocco. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles E. Cater and her siblings: Dominic, Bobby, Danny, James, Elmer, Christina, Margaret, Dora, Gloria, Maria, and Eleanor. She is survived by her devoted son and daughter: Eliot E. Cater (Bobbi Jo) and Maria Carpenter (Antwan Burton), five grandchildren who Eleanor adored: Demetri, Cole Olivia, Joseph and Mila, her brother Frank Marocco and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was a former member of St. Titus Church, part of Mary Queen of Saints Parish.

One may remember Eleanor as a cashier at various local grocery stores. She later became employed with Aliquippa Schools District as a lunch lady at the elementary school.
In her later years, Eleanor enjoyed watching TV and shopping online. Her greatest joy was spending time with her treasured grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 17th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a blessing service at 12 noon in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home, 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
