Raymond C. Lenz, 92, of Moon Township, passed away comfortably at his home on January 7th, 2025. He was born in Pittsburgh on September 11th, 1932, a son of the late Carl Lenz & Katherine “Dolly” (Moore) Lenz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Saunders. Raymond is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann “Margie” (Young) Lenz, five sons: Kevin Lenz (Kathy) of Evans City, Pennsylvania, Keith Lenz (Pam) McKean of Pennsylvania, Brian Lenz (Karen) of Imperial, Pennsylvania, Larry Lenz (Jennifer) of Center Township, Allen Lenz (Patty) of Oakdale, Pennsylvania, his brother, Charles Lenz, niece, Christine, three stepdaughters, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. All will deeply miss him for his sense of humor, sage wisdom, advice, ready smile and sparkling eyes.
Raymond served his country with honor in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Langley Highschool in Pittsburgh, PA and after an Honorable Discharge from the Army he completed his career with Bell Atlantic Telecommunications as a Systems Analyst in a supervisory role.
Private services will be held for his immediate family at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the branch of Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Neurofibromatosis Foundation at Contribute Online – Neurofibromatosis Network.
