James W. “Bill” Noah, Sr., 87, of Brighton Township, passed away on November 15th, 2024, at Heritage Valley Beaver.
He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, on February 8th, 1937, a son of the late George and Beulah Wolfe Noah. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Delores “DeeDee” Noah, brother George “Spud” Noah and sister Judy Dawson.
He is survived by his son, James W. “Bill” (Terri) Noah, Jr., daughter Paula (Alan) Wojdyla, grandchildren, Joshua and Abigail Noah and Paige Wojdyla, brother David (Patti) Noah sister-in-law Diana George, nieces, Susan and Jennifer George, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
James was a proud member of the U. S. Army, serving as a specialist E-4 paratrooper. He went on to retire from a career as a packaging engineer with Westinghouse, and was a faithful member of Beaver Falls Christian Assembly Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. His passion was growing vegetables in his garden and sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends. On Friday afternoons, you would find him savoring a glass of homemade wine with his dear friends, Willy, Rose, Michael and Trish.
