Angelina Marie “Angie” Jeffers, 71, a longtime West Aliquippa resident and recent Monaca resident passed away peacefully on November 18th, 2024, at her home in Monaca. She was born in Rochester on January 8th, 1953, the daughter of the late William and Angela Marie (Deluigi) DiJovin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Jeffers, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Ann (Pat) Gajewski, and her brothers, William ‘Tubby’ DiJovin and Dominic (Pam) DiJovin, who were like sons to her. She also held a special place in her heart for her stepchildren, Rick (Tracey) Jeffers and Kathy (Angel) Reyes.
Angie’s role as a grandmother was one of her greatest joys. She loved her grandchildren, Tiara (Nathan), Zaine, Courtney, Caitlin, and Cassidy. Her love extended to her several nieces and nephews.
Angie lived a life characterized by her love for her family, her passion for animals, and her unwavering support for the Aliquippa Quips and Steelers.
Throughout her life, Angie dedicated herself to the role of a homemaker. A lover of all animals, she found companionship and joy in the presence of her furry friends.
A true fan at heart, Angie’s enthusiasm for the Aliquippa Quips and the Steelers was infectious. She enjoyed the excitement of game days, cheering on her teams with fervor. Her leisure time often found her engrossed in puzzle books. Angie’s friendship with Mary Frances Lutz was a source of great joy and comfort to her.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 22nd from 2-6 p.m. at Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.
