Bruce D Jobe, Sr., 59, of Rochester Township, formerly of Midland, passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2024.
He was born on September 3, 1965 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of the late Harvey Jobe and Mary Jobe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Jobe, sister-in-law, Michelle Mamone, and brother-in-law Dan Davies.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Susan Jobe of Rochester Township, son and daughter in law Bruce D Jobe Jr. and Lindsay Jobe of Louisville, Ohio; daughter and son in law, Brittany and Alex Modany, Ohioville; his identical twin brother and sister in law, Brian and Saishoon Jobe of Midland, brother Ken Jobe of Midland, brother in law, Michael Mamone (Cheryl) of Rochester Township; grandchildren: Madeline Kress, Linda Jobe, Jack Jobe, Khloe Kadilak, Lily Modany, and Matthew Kadilak; aunts and uncle, Darlene and Tom Candle and Dolores Shelton and devoted work friends, David Steff, Adam Kraner, and Dave Grimm. Bruce is also survived by his loyal companion Penny, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bruce was a kind man who was fiercely devoted to his family. Bruce had a love for cooking, gardening, and fishing, which he often enjoyed with his son Bruce Jr. and grandson Jack. Bruce loved trading cooking tips and tricks with his daughter Brittany, and loved sitting on the front porch with his devoted wife Susan watching the hummingbirds on the feeders. He loved telling old stories about growing up on Midland Heights and getting in trouble with his brother Brian, and childhood friends Kenny, John, Dave, Frank, and Tommy. Bruce was employed by Tenaris Steel, Ambridge and formerly Anchor Hocking Phoenix Glass where he made many loyal and lifelong friends. Bruce was a graduate of Midland Lincoln High School, part of the class of 1984.
