Harold N. Cain Sr. (1938 ~ 2024)

Harold Nelson Cain Sr., 85, of Aliquippa, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 14, 2024, at Beaver Valley Healthcare and Rehab. Born to the late Julia and Harold Cain on August 4, 1938, Harold Sr. was a graduate of Aliquippa High School and went on to further his education at the Police Academy, Ambridge School of Nursing and a graduate of the Hearty Bible School.

Harold Sr. dedicated his life to the Aliquippa Police Department, Aliquippa Hospital, where he was the first male licensed practical nurse, and the Beaver County Transit Authority, where he retired. Harold committed his life to Christ at a young age. Heheld leadership roles in ministry and was a member of New Holy Temple Church of God in Christ at the time of his departure. In his free time, Harold Sr. enjoyed fishing, traveling, and watching karate movies.

Harold Sr. leaves to cherish his memory his loving children Harold Cain Jr. (Janice), Lamont Cain, and Juanita Hodges; siblings, Calvin “Casey” Cain, Joann Jeter (William), and Belinda “Teet” Cain and his extended family, the Curentons. His grandchildren Dioanna Crute, Deshawn Williams, Anissa Brown (Aaron), Michaela Cain, Julia Cain, Shamia Cain, Carissa Hodges, Amber Hodges, Caroline Hodges, Damon Jones, Tyler Shaw, Shahad Shaw, Harold “Tre” Cain III (Michelle), Darold Cain (Crystal), Jarrold Cain (Sarah), Tanetta Williams (Andrew), Tamara Tyson, Brittney Carter, Branden Carter, Jasmine Carter, and Sharneka Jeffries (Ric), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Harold Sr. was preceded in death by his children, Rhoda Coley, Tina Williams, and Eric Cain, and siblings Irene “Niecy” McClellan, Diane Clarit, Lee Charles Cain, Benjamin “Bimbo” Cain Sr., and John “Doc” Cain.

Family and friends will be welcomed for visitation on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 11am-12n. The service will follow immediately after at 12 noon at the New Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, 148-150 Fourth Avenue, Aliquippa, PA 15001.

The family of Harold Cain Sr. would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Heritage Valley Beaver, AHN Wexford Hospital, Wexford Healthcare Center, and Beaver Valley Healthcare and Rehab for their amazing care during Harold Sr.’s final days.
