Mary Markovina (Markovich) Ulinski, 91, a resident of Beaver Meadows, Brighton Township, and formerly of Baden, passed away on March 15, 2024. She was born on July 22,1932 in West Aliquippa and is the daughter of the late Betty (Bosijlka) and Jovo Markovina. n addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley and her much loved daughter, Damia Ulinski, brothers: George, Nick, Sam, Mitch, Russell and Stanley, and sisters Mildred Durkos and Katherine Simoni. Mary is survived by her daughter Lisa (Michael) Wilson, the sunshine of her life, grandson, Dr. Brandon (Halie) Wilson of Hartland, Vermont, and her sister Dorothy “Babe” (Charles) Davis.
Mary was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church. She honorably served our country in the Korean War.
The family would like to thank the staff of Beaver Meadows for all the care given to Mary. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19th, from 5pm to 8pm at the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc., 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa. Pomen (blessing service) will be held in the funeral home at 7pm Tuesday. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, March 20th at 11am at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, officiated by Father Njegos Perkovic. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Aliquippa.
The Beaver County Special Unit will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
