Rose (Uccellini) Cindrich of Hopewell Township passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the age of 91. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that is etched in the hearts of those lucky enough to know her.
Rose was born in Midland on August 17, 1932, to Carlo and Emma Uccellini. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Christine and Anna. Rose is survived by her children Carla (Kurt) Gardner, Jon (Doreen) Cindrich and Cynthia (John) Tomczak and her five grandsons, Rawley Gardner, Logan and Cole Cindrich, and Luke and Liam Tomczak. As a mother and grandmother, Rose was the heart of the family. She and John were married for 64 wonderful years before he passed in 2020, and she left us to be with him on his birthday. Her unconditional love was a foundation for her three children, and she looked forward to her regular phone calls and Sunday dinners with them. Her face lit up with an indescribable happiness whenever she was with her grandsons. She created memories that will forever be cherished by them. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews because of her kindness and devotion to family. She knew more about football than most sports commentators, and she never met a bingo game she didn’t like. In addition to being a devoted wife, a loving mother and a proud grandmother, she was an active member of the St. Anthony Club Women’s Guild in Midland.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 29 from 3 – 7 p.m. at Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home, 2026 McMInn Street, Aliquippa 724-375-0496.
