District Attorney David Lozier has named Sheldon Jeter Jr. as a person of interest in the ongoing investigation in the 2018 murder of Rachael DelTondo.

DelTondo was shot to death in her parent’s driveway on Mother’s Day night of that year, and according to the original report, Jeter had been stalking her up until the night of her murder. Jeter is already serving a life sentence in prison following his June 2021 conviction for the May 2020 murder of Tyric Pugh.

Lozier also announced on Tuesday that an award is being posted seeking information in the DelTondo murder case. He added that investigators will be unsealing a search warrant within the next month or so.
