Rochester Girls Win Big 70-29 over Avella on WBVP/WMBA and TribLive!!

In a game heard on WBVP/WMBA/TribLive Bob Barrickman and Jason Calangelo had the call in game 1 of the doubleheader from Ambridge High School. It was a game dominated early y Rochester jumping out to a 21-2 lead and never looked back. They developed a 42-18 lead at the half and kept building on it in the second half. They had a 64-24 lead after three and won the game by a final over Avella of 70-29. Rochester Lady Rams take on Quigley Catholic next.

We start in Ambridge as the Lady Rams of Rochester take on Avella in the 1A Quarterfinals at 6:30; pre-game on WBVP/WMBA is at 6:05. Then we travel to Northgate as the South Side Beaver Rams boys’ team takes on Winchester-Thurston in the 2A Quarterfinals. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00pm.
