Beaver Falls and Wilmington met at Reeves field tonight for this PIAA state playoff game.   Wilmington was the first to score early on in the game taking a 7-0 lead.  Beaver Falls responded, getting points on the board but missing their attempt at 2.  Before the 1st half was over, Wilmington scored another 6 ending the half with a score of 13-6 Wilmington.  In the second half, Beaver Falls fought hard to catch up, scoring another touchdown but once again missing their attempt at 2, making it a one point game.  Wilmington wasn’t ready to give up and managed another touchdown.  The Tigers responded and scored again as well but could not get the extra 2 they needed to tie the game.  Wilmington took the win with a final score of 20-18.
