Quaker Valley 93, Beaver 65

The consistent scoring prowess of Quaker Valley was too much for the Beaver Bobcats tonight, as the Quakers earn a 93-65 victory in Section 2-AAAA play.

Quaker Valley distances themselves from third place and remains in second at 7-1 (13-1 overall), while Beaver drops to a 3-way tie for fifth at 3-5 (6-8).

Danny Conlan of the Quakers and Tyler Wallace of the Bobcats were chosen as tonight’s CCBC Players of The Game.

Blackhawk 67, Beaver Falls 65

On a buzzer beater, the Blackhawk Cougars avoid the full collapse of losing a 17-point lead to survive the Beaver Falls Tigers 67-65 in Section 2-AAAA play.

The win improves Blackhawk to 3-5 in the section (5-9 overall), while Beaver Falls drops to 4-4 (6-6).

The Cougars’ Dawson Merry and the Tigers’ Malik Shepherd were selected as tonight’s CCBC Players of The Game.

Beaver County Radio’s Steelers Pep Rally 2017

Beaver County Radio held a Pep Rally for the Pittsburgh Steelers at the County Courthouse on Friday, bringing plenty of food and fun for the proud fans that arrived. The event, sponsored by Russ Medical & Sport Massage Clinic and MRS Physical Therapy, featured the Magic Accordion of Pat Septak and the Beaver County Radio Singers!
