Beaver Falls, in their first game after the announcing of Doug Biega’s retirement, won a close and spirited 2-AAAA victory over the Ambridge Bridgers on WMBA.

The Tigers enter a three-way tie with Beaver and Central Valley at 5-5 in the section (7-7 overall), while Ambridge drops to 3-6 (5-11).

Nick Campalong of the Bridgers and Josh Creach of the Tigers were named CCBC Players of The Game.

In a close-fought Section 2-AAAA battle, the Quaker Valley Quakers remain in a tie for first place with a 69-58 victory over the Central Valley Warriors on WBVP.

The Quakers improve to 9-1 in the section (15-1) overall, and the Warriors drop to 5-5 (10-7).

Coletrane Washington (Quaker Valley) and Parker Hudson (Central Valley) were named the CCBC Players of The Game.

The consistent scoring prowess of Quaker Valley was too much for the Beaver Bobcats tonight, as the Quakers earn a 93-65 victory in Section 2-AAAA play.

Quaker Valley distances themselves from third place and remains in second at 7-1 (13-1 overall), while Beaver drops to a 3-way tie for fifth at 3-5 (6-8).
