Franklin Center of Beaver County is sponsoring a
for kids on Saturday, December 14. The event is being held at Broadcast Street Cafe in Aliquippa, and there are 50 reservations available for 9 a.m. A center official said the 10 and 11 a.m. breakfast reservations have all been filled.

The Ellwood City Municipal Woman’s Club will be hosting it’s 33rd Annual Christmas House Tour on Saturday December 14 from 10am to 3pm. There will be 5 homes featured along with Sam Teolis’s personal museum! Many area businesses will also be participating with special discounts and drawings. The cost of the ticket is $10 and all proceeds go toward maintaining the gazebo at the five points in Ewing Park(which was built by the EC Municipal Woman’s Club) and civic projects.
Tickets can be purchased at Market Place on Main, Posies by Patti, Shops at the Underpass, Blocher’s Jewelers, any club member or by visiting the Ellwood City Municipal Woman’s Club Facebook page.
A map is provided and houses can be toured at your leisure.

Celebration to follow in P.J. Caul Park
Join us for a one-of-a-kind holiday extravaganza celebrating Ambridge and the spirit of Christmas.
The parade features live music, a pet parade, floats, and appearances by some of your Christmas favorites: Old Economy Harmonists, local first responders, Belsnickel and Santa Claus.
After the parade, the celebration continues in P.J. Caul Park where festivities include pictures with Belsnickel and Santa Claus and a petting zoo.
Join us for this new Ambridge holiday tradition!
The start of Hopewell’s Holiday Express will be held at the township building on Friday, December 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a Parade, food, Santa, and lots of fun for all!!

The Activities Dept. at Brighton Rehab & Wellness (formerly Friendship Ridge) will be holding “Light Up a Life” this year. This special program allows for our community to come together and donate for a very special cause: The Residents. They are asking for donations by December 20th to give the 500 residents a memorable Christmas. Below is a list of items for both men and women.
WOMEN: Hand/body lotion, bath gel, cologne, deodorant, lipstick or gloss, socks and small coin purses.
MEN: Body lotion, aftershave, cologne, body wash, deodorant, socks and wallets.
Fleece blankets and gift cards (to help us purchase what is not donated) also make great gifts.
