In recognition of Women’s History Month, the VBC is partnering with Point Park University to hold a women’s storytelling event with WWII veteran Navy WAVE Julia Parsons. Julia worked as a codebreaker on Enigma, the top secret German code. FREE EVENT! Korean War Anniversary Event at the Heinz History Center (1212 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222). To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War on June 25, 1950, the VBC with the Heinz History Center invites you to a storytelling event where Korean War veterans share their memories of the war.
