New Brighton Man Secures $50K State Grant for Beaver Falls Pool

A NEW BRIGHTON MAN IS ONE MAJOR STEP CLOSER TO REPAIRING AND RE-OPENING THE TIGERLAND WAVE POOL IN BEAVER FALLS. 41-YEAR-OLD TYRONE ZEIGLER HAS SECURED A  50-THOUSAND-DOLLAR STATE GRANT FOR THE POOL. THE GRANT WAS AWARDED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. THE MONEY WILL BE USED TO REPLACE PUMPS, ERECT SIGNS AND SECURE A STEEL BEAM UNDER THE DECKING AT THE POOL. ZEIGLER, WHO HAS BEEN RAISING MONEY FOR THE PAST 16 MONTHS TO RE-OPEN THE POOL, RECENTLY APPEARED ON ‘TELEFORUM’ WITH FRANK SPARKS TO TALK ABOUT HIS EFFORTS.
