Driver Sought In Alleged Road-Rage Incident in Moon Township

Authorities in Moon Township are looking for the driver of an SUV involved in an alleged road-rage incident Monday that prompted the Moon Area School District’s middle school and high school to be placed on precautionary lock down. Authorities say a woman was driving down University Boulevard and turned into the parking lot of the schools to pick up her children with a black SUV following close behind her. The woman told police that she got out of her vehicle and asked the SUV’s driver what was going on. Moon Township police say the SUV driver pulled out a gun and pointed it out of his window and in the woman’s face. Police say the SUV took off through the parking lot. Officers are looking for a man in his late teens to early ’20’s. The suspect has a scruffy beard, curly black hair and was wearing a white, short-sleeved shirt. The search for a suspect is ongoing.
